nLite 1.0 RC4

nLite 是一款 Windows XP 图形缩身工具,自定义缩减和创建ISO中所有的套件,可以工作在每个版本的Windows XP,支持 SP2,它能使用户在 Windows 安装盘上删除掉那些不愿装的Windows组件,例如IE,Outlook Express, Media Player, Windows Messenger 等等,使你的Windows更小巧,为您节省更多的硬盘空间,可释放更多的内存.注意运行需要Framework.

 

曾经用这个软件精简个一个WINDOWS XP SP2的系统盘,效果还是很不错,安装完只有五百M左右的大小.功能都是符合自已需要的,用不到的功能组件都删了.系统的运行速度也很快,很稳定.曾出现过安装过程缺少文件的提示,不过不影响安装完全和使用.不知现在新版本怎么样.

希捷斥资19亿美元收购迈拓

　　来自华尔街日报的消息,希捷(Seagate)将斥资19亿美元收购迈拓(Maxtor),双方董事会将于今天共同发布确认声明.
在硬盘驱动器领域,希捷排行第一,西部数据(Western Digital )第二,迈拓第三.现在市场对硬盘的需求持续高速增长,因为除了电脑之外还有许多数码场合将应用到这种大容量、廉价的高速存储设备.
　　这是近几年来,暨迈拓收购昆腾(Quantum)、日立(Hitachi)收购IBM硬盘部门之后,磁存储领域的第三起重大并购案.
当然,这也是05年末在nVIDIA收购ULi之后的又一爆炸性新闻!

怀疑!腾讯的服务器时钟晚了

　　晚上在一个QQ群聊天时，发现别人发信息后来跟着的时间都比自已的要晚十分钟左右，但实际基本上在很接近的时间内发的。就怀疑自已机子的时间不对了，就上一个国际时间校正服务器上作了校正。但实际上我的时间并没有出错。又在另一个群比对了一下，也是这个情况，我自已发的信息是按我自已机子上的时间，别人几乎同时发的信息却比我的时间要晚十分钟左右。问了群里的其他人也是这个情况。

　　猜测：发送来的信息时间是用服务器上的，因为群信息都要经过服务器，而自已发送的是用自已机器上的时间。如果服务器时间出错了，接收到别人收信息时显示出的时间也是不对了。

　　估计是为了应对最近Hotmail Live和Gmail得连连升级,Yahoo Mail也开始了新版本的邮件系统测试.并且开始发放邀请信.
